*Homerun Derby Predictions*
As you may know the 2009 Homerun Derby is tomorrow! I can’t wait, as I watch the Homerun Derby and All Star Game every year! It’s so fun to watch MLB’s biggest sluggers go out there and hit monster shots. You won’t see this in batting practice! Anyways, I just wanted to give you my prediction on who will go the distance and possibly win the 2009 Homerun Derby.

2009 State Farm HomeRun Derby Champion…

Now of course I would want to see Mauer win. I just love watching him bat and he is probably the best all around hitter in baseball. He can hit for power and average and is a great clutch hitter. But I went with Pujols because he has home field advantage and knows where to hit the ball. He also has the most power I’ve ever seen! But I could be wrong. Just like last year, even though Hamilton put on a show, Morneau still came out on top (even though Hamilton deserved it). Who knows? Maybe the M&M boys will win the Derby back-to-back.

Nice post. I’m glad to see you updated the participants. I think I might agree with all of your predictions. Pujols and Mauer have the best shot. Pena, though, is a pure slugger. His swing is perfect for the HR Derby. He’ll be right there.
